You MUST redeem the referral code during the account creation process. You cannot redeem a referral code after the account has been created. There are NO exceptions.

2. Are customers allowed to create multiple accounts on ZenSports?

No. Multiple accounts are not allowed. Signing up for multiple ZenSports accounts using different email addresses in order to obtain more than one Welcome Bonus is prohibited. Abuse or fraud will NEVER be tolerated.

ZenSports does full KYC/AML checks on all customers, and if you’re caught trying to cheat by signing up for multiple accounts in order to get bonuses, all of your bonuses will be forfeited, and you’ll be banned from the ZenSports platform. We don’t cheat you, and we expect that you won’t cheat us. The prohibition of creating multiple accounts in order to receive multiple Welcome Bonuses is clearly outlined in the following support article:

3. My country is restricted from placing bets on ZenSports. Can I still download the Bet app and create an account?

Users located in restricted regions can download the Android app and create an account, but won't be able to wager with it - you'll be blocked from depositing funds, placing bets, or trading tokens.

You can find the comprehensive list of countries allowed to create/accept bets, play in our Daily Fantasy Sports Contest, deposit funds, and trade on the exchange here :

The web App version of the Play app is coming soon.

5. I saw a location not found an error message while creating my account. What does this mean?

This means you have not given ZenSports access to your location settings. This setting MUST be enabled to use the app.

To fix this, you'll need to follow these 3 steps:

  • Uninstall the ZenSports app.

  • Turn on the location authorization within the Settings of your phone.

  • Reinstall the ZenSports app.

Doing this will then allow your phone to authorize ZenSports to access its location.

Funding your account

1. What currencies can I deposit into my account?

You can deposit 5 currencies at the moment ;

  1. US dollars via wire transfer

  2. Tether USDT

  3. SPORTS - ZenSports native cryptocurrency

  4. ICX

  5. Bitcoin

For the Bet app, note that each currency above has its own marketplace on ZenSports. Thus, if you deposit Bitcoin, you can only create and accept bets in Bitcoin unless you trade your Bitcoin for a different currency using our exchange.

For the Play app, you can create competitions in any of the 4 currencies above.

2. How do I fund my ZenSports account?

ZenSports allows you to deposit funds into your account automatically within our app using either SPORTS tokens, Bitcoin, ICX, USDT (Tether), wire transfer. To deposit funds into your ZenSports account, simply follow these steps:

  • Tap on the "Funds" icon in the bottom navigation bar.

  • Tap the "Deposit Funds" menu item.

  • Choose the method that you’d like to deposit with.

  • If you choose SPORTS, Bitcoin, ICX, or USDT (Tether), you will be shown a temporary wallet address to send the funds to for the cryptocurrency that you chose. The temporary wallet address will be tied to your ZenSports account, and you can send funds to it by either copying and pasting the wallet address, or scanning it using a QR code.

  • When you submit a payment to that temporary wallet address, ZenSports will automatically show you in real time the progress of where your payment is at on the blockchain. As soon as the payment clears the required number of confirmations on the blockchain, the funds will instantly be credited to your ZenSports’ Available Balance.

  • If you choose the wire transfer option, you'll first need to go through KYC/AML verification before you can make a wire transfer deposit.

You can find out more details about how to make deposits within our support library at:

3. I’ve made a deposit but my account hasn’t been credited?

The speed at which funds are settled depends on the currency deposited. SPORTS and ICX deposits are instant. However, Bitcoin and other currencies may take a while to settle. We require a minimum of 12 confirmations for USDT transfers and 6 confirmations for Bitcoin transfers.

We’ll send you a notification as soon as your deposit is processed and credited to your account. You can learn more about how to track your deposit here :

4. I do not live in the United States. Can I deposit my local currency?

Yes. You can deposit your local currency into your ZenSports USD wallet. Your bank will automatically convert your local currency into US dollars, then deposit it into your ZenSports wallet.

Please note that some banks may charge you a fee for this conversion.

5. What USDT wallet do you support?

We support the Ethereum ERC-20 version of Tether USDT only. Please make sure that you’re sending the Ethereum version of Tether. Sending any other form of Tether will result in the loss of funds.

6. I funded my account with SPORTS but the amount in my wallet has changed. Why?

SPORTS is not a stable coin -- it's not pegged to USD, Tether, or any other stable coin. It fluctuates based on the current market price that is traded within our app and on P2PB2B. ZenSports does not control the price of SPORTS in any way, shape, or form. You should truly view SPORTS tokens as a bonus and a rewards token, and not as guaranteed money or having a guaranteed value.

Because ZenSports gives away SPORTS tokens as part of the Free Play Bonus, there is oftentimes an imbalance of supply and demand if a lot of customers want to cash out their SPORTS tokens right away after using them as part of the Free Play Bonus.

Ultimately, it's up to the marketplace and the community to determine the price of SPORTS tokens -- not ZenSports.

Keep in mind that there are a lot of benefits to using and retaining SPORTS tokens. Here are all of the amazing discounts, rewards, and other perks that you get by betting with SPORTS tokens:

  • Save between 1.5% and 2.5% on betting fees by betting with SPORTS tokens.

  • Receive up to 2% cashback on your entire betting volume when betting with SPORTS tokens.

  • Earn up to 0.5% cashback based on your betting volume when you make infrequent withdrawals within ZenSports.

  • Earn 30% of the SPORTS betting fees paid by any friends and colleagues that you refer to ZenSports.

  • Eligibility for other discounts and promotions that we offer.

You can find out more details about all of the discounts, perks, and other rewards that you get for betting with SPORTS by going to the "SPORTS Rewards Program" screen within the Funds screen in the ZenSports app. More info can also be found at:

7. What is the minimum deposit amount ?

ZenSports Betting and Play app has no minimum deposit amount but there is a $1 minimum to create a bet in the betting app.

8. What options do I have when funding my account?

You can fund your ZenSports account through :
a. Wire transfer
b. Cryptocurrencies - Bitcoin, SPORTS, ICX and USDT

  1. From the Play screen, tap “create competition” button at the top.

  2. Follow the steps to add competition name, photo and location of the competition, competition format, competition date / time and frequency and fees.

Tap the ‘Create’ button. This will create the competition and take you to the competition screen where you can manage it.

Here is a detailed guide on how to create competitions:

3. How do I register for a competition?

4. Can I edit a competition after creating it?

Yes. You can edit a competition after creating it. However, there are instances where sections of the competition can no longer be edited.

  • After a player has registered for your competition or prize money has been allocated, the competition fees cannot be changed.

  • After entries have been closed, the competition format can no longer be changed.

5. Who submits results after a match ends?

After a match ends, the creator of the competition or players in the match can submit results. You can edit the results until the last results of the final match is submitted. Here is a detailed guide on how to submit results:

Creating and accepting bets

1. How do I create and accept bets on ZenSports ?

You can get started using ZenSports by either creating your own bets or accepting others' bets. Below is more information on how to do both.

Creating Your Own Bets:

  • From the Bets/Contests screen, tap the "Create Bet" button at the top.

  • Follow the steps to choose the league/sport you want to bet on, the time period, team/player, bet type, closing date/time, and bet amount.

  • Tap the "Create Bet" button on Step 7 and your bet will officially be created for others to accept.

You can find additional information on how to create bets as a Maker here :

Accepting Someone Else's Bet:

  • From the Bets/Contests screen, tap on which league/sport you want to find bets for from the list.

  • Choose whether you want to view all bets for that league/sport, or if you want to filter by just specific games or futures bets.

  • Tap on a bet that you're interested in accepting, enter in the amount of your bet, and tap the green "Accept Bet" button and you'll be all set.

You can find additional information on how to accept bets as a Taker here :

2. What sport is available for betting on ZenSports?

ZenSports offers the following betting options within our betting app:

  • Professional and collegiate live sporting events

  • Esports

  • Daily Fantasy Sports Contests

You can find the entire list of sports and leagues available for betting here :

3. What are the betting fees on ZenSports ?

We only charge 2.5% to Makers to create a bet or DFS contest, and 5% to Takers to accept a bet or enter a DFS contest, and even cheaper fees if you bet and enter DFS contests using SPORTS utility tokens (1% for Makers and 2.5% for Takers when using SPORTS tokens).

You can learn more about the fees charged by ZenSports here :

4. My bet ended in a tie / postponed. Will I be charged a betting fee ?

You will receive the original amount of your bet or the contest entry amount in the case of a Daily Fantasy Sport. However, the betting fee charged by ZenSports will NOT be refunded.

ZenSports is simply a technology marketplace, offering a service between two parties -- since we're not a bookmaker ourselves, we don't make money on the spread when a bet is lost. As such, we simply charge a fee for using our service, regardless of what the bet outcome is (since we're not involved in, nor do we care what a bet outcome is).

We also have large expenses to run this technology service -- for us to have our revenue and our ability to pay our expenses hinge on a bet outcome doesn't really make much sense when we're not involved in the bet in the first place.

So for these reasons, the outcome of the bet is irrelevant in how we charge for our service.

Keep in mind that we already offer a huge discount on betting fees when betting with SPORTS tokens, and even 5% for USD/BTC/ICX bets is much cheaper than what traditional bookmakers offer (plus, you can cut those fees in half when you are the Maker of bets). So we, and our customers, feel that our fees are reasonable to charge in all circumstances.

  1. I accepted a bet and won but the Maker of the bet has not submitted the results. When will I receive my winnings?
Makers of the bet are the ones required to submit bet results when the event is over. The length of time that a Maker gets to submit results depends on the Time Period of the bet:

  • Makers have 24 hours after the start of an event for Single Game events, such as a single basketball game.

  • Makers have 24 hours after the start of the last day of an event for Multiple Game or Multiple Day events, such as a golf tournament that lasts several days or betting on multiple individual games at once.

  • Makers have 24 hours after a Season/Futures bet has ended, such as the end of the regular season for a bet based on the entire season.

If the Maker doesn't submit results within the specified time period above, then ZenSports by default awards the Taker as the winner of the bet. More on how our decentralized results process works by clicking this link:

5. I won the bet but the Maker submitted a wrong result. What should I do?

If the Maker submits any other result besides setting the Taker as the winner, the Taker has the opportunity to dispute these results. This includes Tie and Postponed event results. Disputes must be submitted by the Taker within 24 hours after the Maker submits results.

You can find instructions on how to submit a dispute here :

When a Maker creates a bet, a 10% escrow fee for potential disputes will be deducted from the Maker’s Available Balance (the escrow fee is reduced to 5% when creating a bet in SPORTS tokens).

If the Taker disputes results within 24 hours, a 5% escrow fee for potentially losing the dispute will be deducted from the Taker's Available Balance when the dispute is submitted (the escrow fee is reduced to 2.5% when disputing a bet in SPORTS tokens).

If the Taker wins the dispute, the full winnings, Taker escrow fee, and 50% of the Maker’s escrow fee will be paid to the Taker (so the Taker will earn a bonus of the Maker’s bet amount as a reward for incorrect results submitted by the Maker).

If the Taker submits a dispute and loses the dispute, the full winnings, Maker escrow fee, and 50% of the Taker’s escrow fee will be paid to the Maker (so the Maker will earn a bonus of the Taker’s bet amount as a reward for a false dispute submitted by the Taker).

You can read more about our penalty system here:

6. The game I made a bet on has been postponed/cancelled, tied etc. How should I submit the result?

Here are our guidelines on what result to submit and how disputes are resolved :

7. I accepted the wrong bet. How can I cancel it ?

If you accepted a bet as a Taker, then you cannot change your bet after accepting it. Once you confirm that you want to accept the bet, you’re locked into a contract on the bet that can’t be undone, so make sure that you really intend on accepting the bet before you do so.

8. Can I edit my bet after creating it?

ZenSports gives you the ability to ;

  • Edit any bets you've created as the Maker, as long as the bet hasn't been accepted by at least one Taker.

  • If a bet you created has already been accepted by at least one Taker, but hasn't been 100% filled, you won't be able to edit the bet but can instead close out the bet to new takers.

  • You can also delete any bets that you've created as the Maker, as long as the bet hasn't been accepted by at least one Taker

  • If a bet you created is fully accepted by Takers, then you won't be able to do anything about it since you are locked into a contract with the Takers and it cannot be undone.

You can read more about how to create and manage bets as a Maker from our support page from the link below :

9. Are United States residents allowed access to the betting platform ?

You can download the Bet app and create an account however, you will not be able to place any bets in the app. We are currently only licensed in Nevada and will be lauching a separate Nevada version of the Bet app later this summer.

We will definitely let you know as soon as we're licensed to operate in your state. The best thing you can do in the meantime is encourage your state legislator to not only legalize sports betting, but to also make it easy for technology platforms like ours to apply and obtain licenses there.

10. Is my country allowed to bet on ZenSport? Do you have any geographical restrictions?

You can find the comprehensive list of countries allowed access to bet/deposit/participate in Daily Fantasy Sports/Trade on ZenSports here :

If your country of residence isn’t included in the list above, you can download the ZenSports Play app from the ZenSports website and use it to participate in esports competitions.

11. Will I be able to find bets on the ZenSports platform?

ZenSports is not a traditional bookmaker, and as such, we don't guarantee a certain amount of liquidity for any specific bet types. Instead, ZenSports is a sports betting marketplace, where anyone can create and accept sports bets with each other without the need for a traditional bookmaker.

ZenSports does do its own market-making of bets from time to time, but the bets and liquidity amounts are based on algorithms set up to ensure that there is an appropriate amount of liquidity offered based on the corresponding league, sport, and bet type. More on this can be found here:

The beauty of ZenSports is that if you don't see the amount of liquidity that you're looking for with any particular bet, you can create your own bets with your own liquidity, lines, and odds!

Creating your own bets with your own liquidity, lines, and odds is easy. Check out this support article for how to create your own bets as the Maker:

12. When will my country be allowed to place bets on ZenSports.

We recently received our gaming license to operate in the state of Nevada. We'll be looking to get licensed in other regions in the near future.

We post all product updates on our Product Updates page. We will include it there as soon as we receive the approval to offer betting in your region. Here is a link to the page :

You could also sign up and receive an email notification of our Product Updates through the notifications tab within the ZenSports app. Make sure that the Products & Sports betting tips option is enabled. Here is a link to our support page on how to enable this option :

I’m a resident of Nevada. Can I deposit and bet in crypto?

Only ZenSports' sports book and fiat deposit/withdrawal/wagering options are currently offered in Nevada. We hope to offer our peer-to-peer and cryptocurrency wagering in Nevada soon.

1. Is KYC required to use ZenSports?

ZenSports does require that all customers get KYC/AML verified when

  • making deposits via wire transfer

  • making withdrawals via any method (fiat or cryptocurrency).

We offer users two options for the KYC process; a. Prime Trust b. Yoti

  • Prime Trust : We've partnered with Prime Trust to make getting KYC/AML verified super easy within ZenSports. The KYC/AML verification via Prime Trust is a global verification within ZenSports, which means if you go through that verification, you're automatically verified for everything within ZenSports -- depositing or withdrawing fiat, as well as withdrawing cryptocurrency funds (note: there's never a KYC/AML requirement when depositing cryptocurrencies).

Here's the support library article on how to get KYC/AML verified via Prime Trust within our app:

  • Yoti : We also offer an alternative KYC/AML verification method using Yoti, which you can use to get verified. The KYC/AML verification process via Yoti will need to be done outside the ZenSports app. The KYC/AML verification via Yoti is only valid for withdrawing cryptocurrency funds. If you then later choose to deposit/withdraw funds via fiat, you will be required to go through Prime Trust's KYC/AML verification (note: there's never a KYC/AML requirement when depositing cryptocurrencies)

Here's the support article with instructions on how to do this:

2. I’ve completed the Prime Trust verification but haven’t heard back from you?

This could be due to (i) Pending kyc status (ii) Failed KYC status.

Pending: If your KYC has been pending for less than 24 business hours, please allow

enough time for the Prime Trust to review. A review usually takes about 24 business hours. However, if your KYC has been pending for more than 24 hours, feel free to reach out to our support team and we’ll look contact the Prime Trust team on your behalf.

Failed: If your KYC verification wasn’t successful, reach out to our support team and we’ll look into it.

3. I’ve completed the Yoti verification process but haven’t received a response from you.

Because the process with Yoti is manual and not automatic, you will need to let us know once you're done getting verified via Yoti, and we'll then manually take care of approving your KYC/AML verification within ZenSports

Withdrawing Funds

1. How do I withdraw my earnings?

You can submit withdrawal / payout requests directly within the ZenSports app. To submit a withdrawal request from within ZenSports, simply follow these steps:

  • Tap on the "Funds" icon in the bottom navigation bar.

  • Tap the "Withdrawal Funds" menu item.

  • Choose which method you want to withdraw funds via, along with the amount you want to withdraw.

  • If you choose SPORTS or ICX, you will need to provide your ICON wallet.

  • If you choose Bitcoin, you will need to provide your Bitcoin wallet address.

  • If you choose USD, you will be prompted to either choose USDT (Tether) or Wire Transfer. If you choose USDT (Tether), you will need to provide your ERC-20 (Ethereum) Tether wallet address (note that ZenSports does not allow for Tether withdrawals to an Omni based wallet address).

If you choose Wire Transfer, you will need to provide your wire transfer information. More on how to withdraw funds can be found in these support articles:

2. Can I withdraw my funds without going through the KYC process?

No. KYC is required for all currency withdrawals.

3. How long would it take to process my withdrawal?

Here are the processing times that you can expect for withdrawals;

  • BTC, USD, and ICX withdrawals get processed within 24 business hours, excluding weekends and U.S. holidays.

  • SPORTS token withdrawals get processed within 12 business hours as an added perk for using SPORTS tokens, so you can receive your funds faster by withdrawing in SPORTS.

Friday requests received before 12:00pm Pacific Time will be processed the same day (before the weekend). Friday requests received after 12:00pm Pacific Time will be processed the next business day (on Monday; or if Monday is a US holiday, on Tuesday).

For larger withdrawal requests (generally greater than $10,000 or the USD equivalent thereof) or when there is a high volume of withdrawal requests made, processing times take longer than 24 business hours. In these circumstances, we'll proactively reach out to you to let you know the date/time that your withdrawal will be processed.

4. What is the processing fee for withdrawals?

You can find our processing fee for withdrawals here :

5. I received an email confirmation that my SPORTS token withdrawal has been processed. I still cannot find the tokens in my wallet.

By default, your ICON wallet will not show you all of the tokens that you own -- you manually have to tell it to show you what tokens you own.

How to view SPORTS utility tokens in your ICON wallet:

  • Open up your ICON wallet, either from your Chrome browser extension or from the ICON mobile app.

  • Once you're in your ICON wallet, click the 3 dots on the far right side of the wallet.

  • Click "Add Token" from the drop-down menu.

  • Scroll down until you see the "SPORTS" token option.

  • If you don't see the SPORTS token option for some reason, you can copy and paste the following contract address instead to search for it cx08eb683a53d6f244d538a45f0cc584825e2cb985

  • After you've selected the SPORTS token to add, click the blue Add button. Once you do that, you'll see your SPORTS tokens in your ICON wallet.

6. Can I share the same withdrawal wallet with a friend who already has a kyc’ed ZenSports account?

You must either use:

  • a wallet address that you have used in ZenSports before, or

  • a new wallet address that's never been used in ZenSports before.

More info on this can be found within our support library at:

Here is how the Welcome Bonus offer works:

  • During your first 15 days from the date you sign up for an account, ZenSports will give you a welcome bonus in SPORTS tokens equal to 5% of your Taker betting volume, with no maximum if you use a Referral Code (or a $250 maximum bonus if you don’t use a Referral Code).

  • After day 15, ZenSports will automatically credit your SPORTS token wallet in ZenSports with this Welcome Bonus -- no need for you to take any further action or do anything at all.

  • There are no restrictions on how you use the Welcome Bonus once it’s credited to your account -- you can bet with it, hold onto it for a rainy day, or sell/withdraw the tokens immediately!

More on how the Welcome Bonus works can be found here:

1. I made a Trade which has successfully filled. Can I cancel the trade and receive my tokens?

All trades on the exchange are final and cannot be reversed. Please make sure that you check the order very well prior to placing your order.

2. What pairs can I trade on the exchange?

4. I would like to sell my tokens for a specific price. What order type should I use?

To sell your tokens at a specific price on the exchange, please use a limit order. Limit Orders are orders where you want to buy or sell a token at a fixed price, and you don't necessarily care about the order getting filled right away. However, the order isn’t guaranteed to fill. A limit order will only execute if a buyer agrees to buy the coin at the price you’re selling the coin.

More information on limit orders can be found here:

5. I placed a trade a couple days ago but it hasn’t filled yet.

When a trade is made using a limit order, the seller is guaranteed a sell / buy price but the order isn’t guaranteed to fill. The order will only execute when a buyer agrees to pay the price specified. Until then, the order will stay on the order book until there is a match between the buyer and seller.

If you want your order to fill instantly, please use a market order instead. A market order will sell your tokens at the best rate on the exchange. Please note that a market order is guaranteed to fill instantly but you may end up selling the tokens at a lower price than intended.

SPORTS is a true utility token on a fully functional application and active network. SPORTS has not, nor ever will be sold to investors during an ICO, as an investment, or for the purpose of raising funding for ZenSports.

We have a separate SPORT security token that is used for investing. You can find out more details on the difference between SPORT security tokens and SPORTS utility tokens in the following support article:

Our #1 goal has always been and will always be to serve our sports betting customers within ZenSports -- NOT to deliver any kind of investment return on our SPORTS utility tokens. Currently, SPORTS are used as a mechanism for betting and earning rewards through the ZenSports app and network, but we will be expanding the network that SPORTS can be used in soon by partnering with other companies in the sports, entertainment, and media industries. Think of being able to go and buy your favorite player's jersey, or getting tickets to a game, or paying for a pay-per-view event using SPORTS tokens. When buying SPORTS tokens via the exchange in the ZenSports app, customers are required to wager at least 50% of purchased tokens before they can withdraw or transfer them. SPORTS tokens are for betting and earning rewards, not for speculation.

92% of the betting volume in ZenSports takes place using SPORTS tokens, even though we offer the ability to bet in USD. ZenSports is proving out a real-world use case for cryptocurrencies that consumers are using in their everyday lives.
