Different Notification Methods from ZenSports

We reach out to you in multiple ways to make sure you're in the know about what's going on with your ZenSports account.

ZenSports provides 3 types of notifications to make sure you're up to date on everything that you need to know regarding your ZenSports account:

  1. In-Product Notifications -- you'll see In-Product Notifications if you tap on the "Notifs" tab in the bottom navigation bar. 

  2. Push Notifications -- notifications that come from the operating system of your phone outside of the ZenSports app.

  3. Email Notifications -- emails sent to the email address that you have on file with your ZenSports account.

In-Product Notifications

To access In-Product Notifications, simply tap on the "Notifs" tab in the bottom navigation bar. The number in the red circle will let you know how many new notifications you've received since you last came to this screen:

In-Product notifications are sorted in reverse chronological order so that you see the most recent notifications at the top. ZenSports stores and allows you to scroll through the most recent 1,000 notifications that you've received.

In-Product notifications can be tapped on and taken to the corresponding screen that the notification pertains to. Notifications that you have already tapped on are color-coded in white. Notifications that you haven't already tapped on are color-coded in blue:

Since In-Product notifications can only be see when you're actually within the ZenSports app and thus shouldn't cause any annoyance, you can not un-subscribe from receiving In-Product notifications.

Push Notifications

Almost every In-Product Notification has a corresponding Push Notification that we'll send to you from the operating system of your phone in order to make sure that you see what you need to know:

Just like In-Product notifications, Push Notifications can also be tapped on and taken to the corresponding screen that the notification pertains to. Once you tap on a Push Notification, it will disappear from the alerts on your phone.

However, unlike In-Product Notifications, Push Notifications get shown to you when you're outside the ZenSports app. As such, you can unsubscribe from Push Notifications by going into your Settings. See Notification Settings for how up update which notifications you get.

Email Notifications

Unlike In-Product and Push Notifications being tied together, where there's almost always a corresponding Push Notification that accompanies an In-Product Notification, ZenSports is much more selective about what kinds of events that we email you about. We try to limit email notifications to just those things that are the most important, such as when you've successfully been KYC verified or new bets are available that match your Favorites criteria.

Below is an example of an email about being KYC verified:

You can unsubscribe from emails by going into your Settings. See Notification Settings for how up update which notifications you get.

You can always unsubscribe from or re-subscribe to Push or Email Notifications, as well as any Notification type within each method (i.e. bet results, promotions).
